The law blog has been moved to a new domain. You can check out our blog and our large (and growing) collection of case briefs. The new site also hosts a law school outline bank. Look for our email address at the new site if you'd like to submit some study materials to share. It's all for the common good.
A visit to the site will no doubt fill you with a sense of nostalgia as you peruse such classics as International Shoe Co. v. Washington. That was the Supreme Court case you studied in Civil Procedure about minimum contacts and personal service in case you have forgotten.
You will surely experience a thrill as you happen across Marbury v. Madison. Naturally, no summary can do justice to the eloquent words of Chief Justice John Marshall, but it will suffice for the 1L who must learn that most famous of Supreme Court cases that established the power of judicial review.
Perhaps you'd prefer a bit of light reading to the more heady stuff. Burger King Corp. v. Rudzewicz might be just the thing you need - a nice blend of contracts and civil procedure in one tidy case. Everyone could use a refresher on forum selection clauses from time to time.
We hope to see you at our new digs. You are welcome to drop in and say hello anytime.
